INAUGURATION CEREMONY

Nation celebrated  Azadi Amrit Mahostav in 2022. In the same year the school completed 95 years of its foundation.  Both occasions were jointly celebrated on December 24, 2022. The event was presided by Honourable Home and Cooperation minister Shri Amitbhai Shah.  Shri Bhupendra Patel,  Chief Minister of Gujarat was chief guest and Shri Rishikesh Patel, health minister of Gujarat was guest of honour.

On this occasion two projects, namely a building for self finance section and a multipurpose hall, were envisaged. Our school has maintained an unique identity of culture with noble principles and academic education in the rural area for 95 years. This reputation resulted in receiving donations from many sources during financial years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. These donations made it possible to implement both projects.

On the auspicious day of Sharad Purnima on October 28, 2023, foundation laying ceremony was carried out by Smt. Sonalben Amitbhai Shah (who also happens to be Pilvai’s daughter).

By February 2025, both the projects were completed. On another auspicious day,  March 2, 2024, both the projects were inaugurated by Honourable Shri Amitbhai Shah.  His concern and support for students suffering from malnutrition resulted into organizing nutrition packets daily for concerned students.

CELEBRATION OF AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV

To celebrate “AzadiKaAmritMahotsav” in our country, our institute ShethGirdharlalChunilal High School, Pilvai organised a “Sneha Sammelan” (“સ્નેહ સંમેલન”) wherein Shri Amit Shah the Minister of Home Affairs and Co-operation was the Chief Guest and Chairman and Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat State and Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel, Minister of Health and Family Welfare of Gujarat State along with other dignitaries graced the institute by being present at the School.
Hon’ble Shri Amit Shah has inaugurated New project of Solar Power and New Computer Lab donated by generous donors.

Value Education is a distinguishing feature of the institute. In the year 1964 the former principal of the school late Chaganbhai K. Patel was honoured with “Best Teacher National Award” by our second president of IndiaDr.SarvepalliRadhakrishnan.

Normally 1000+ male and female students from different rural areas are getting education. This institution has never adopted commercialization of education and has always prided itself on its noble principles and values. This charitable institution provides education to students of all classes in rural areas. This institution is rapidly progressing with the help of Gujarat Government Grant, CSR contributions and noble donations from eminent donors as well as the continuous efforts of the Trustees, Principals and Teachers and staff. “Shala AmaariTirthBhoomiGhyan Ganga JhanVahe” (“શાળા અમારી તીર્થભૂમિ જ્ઞાન ગંગા જ્યાં વહે”) is the slogan of our institution.
After getting education from this institution, many students have achieved their career in medical field, some in politics or some ineducation field and approximately 30000 alumni are providing social service along with their business – employment all over the world. This institution is approved under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme.

This institution has been registered for undertaking Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities under Registration Number CSR00033250 dated 04-July-2022.

This institution has also been registered under 01-Sub clause (i) of clause (ac) of sub-section (1) of section 12A From AY 2022-23 to AY 2026-27.

This institution has also been granted approval under 11-Clause (i) of first proviso to sub-section (5) of section 80G From AY 2022-23 to AY 2026-27
